Send WhatsApp broadcasts

Send a template to thousands of contacts and see who got it, read it, and replied.

From spreadsheet to sent

  • Pick a template: use an approved template to reach anyone who opted in.
  • Upload a CSV: one row per recipient. Each column fills the template's parameters.
  • Send or schedule: send now or pick a time. Kapso paces delivery for you.

Know what happened to every message

  • Delivery, reads, replies, and failures for each recipient, with the error Meta returned when something didn't go through.
  • Recipients who stopped marketing messages from your number are suppressed: nothing is sent and they are not charged.

Built for real lists

  • Do it from the dashboard or the Platform API. Both produce the same broadcast.
  • Automatic pacing: batch size scales with the list, so you do not throttle your own requests.
  • Add up to 1,000 recipients per API request, and repeat the call for bigger lists.
  • Duplicate a broadcast to keep its template, parameters, and recipients as a new draft.
  • Status webhooks mirror deliveries, reads, and opt-outs into your own system.

Frequently asked questions

Can I broadcast free-form text?

No. Meta requires an approved template to open a conversation, so broadcasts are template-only. Replies inside an open session can be free-form.

How many recipients can I send to?

Upload a CSV in the dashboard, or add recipients through the API, up to 1,000 per request. Repeat the call for bigger lists. Your number's WhatsApp messaging limit still caps how many people you can start conversations with each day.

What happens to contacts who opted out?

If a contact stopped marketing messages from your number, a marketing broadcast skips them and marks them suppressed. Nothing is sent and they aren't charged. Utility and authentication templates still reach them.

Can I schedule a broadcast?

Yes. Pick a date and time in the dashboard, or call the schedule endpoint with scheduled_at. Kapso starts sending at that time, and you can cancel before then to move it back to draft.
